The Youth at Trinity are a tight-knit group and are very dedicated to bringing glory to God and being fishers of men. Each student strives to learn more about God’s Word and how to further their spiritual growth. Everyone is invited to come to worship and fellowship with each other, learn more about one another and build friendships with all who are involved.
The youth are very active in the community of Fountain Inn, whether it be serving at the James Monroe Mission House, reaching out to shut-ins, or volunteering in a variety of different ways. Each youth is also very involved in the church, from helping during the services to getting involved with other missions and opportunities that Trinity has to offer. This group's focus is on spiritual growth and faith, but it also offers a variety of different activities throughout the year. Weekend retreats, pool parties, bonfires, supporting each other (sporting events, plays, performances, pageants, & more) and hiking trips are just some of the activities that are offered. Bonding is very important to the youth and through that time of bonding, they grow closer with each other and with Jesus Christ our Lord.
The group meets every Sunday night at 6:00p.m. for a time of fellowship & food followed by a time of devotion in small groups. We split up into two small groups, Boys & Girls, allowing them to feel comfortable and open up with each other.
The youth also meet on Wednesday nights at 5:45p.m. for a meal where the church as a whole comes together to eat. Then around 6:30p.m. the youth will meet in the Upper Room as a group and have a time of fun and worship.
TUMC youth are always encouraged to bring a friend to any event or worship night!
We would love to have you "Hooked" at Trinity UMC!
